Panthers Battle on GTA Road Swing

North Bay, ON — The Canadore Panthers women's volleyball team wrapped up a two-match road trip with a straight-sets loss at Seneca on Saturday before pushing Durham in a competitive four-set match on Sunday. Canadore claimed the opening set in Oshawa and showed stretches of strong serving and backcourt defense throughout the weekend.


Saturday, Jan. 17 — Seneca 3, Canadore 0 (25–17, 25–17, 25–14) | King Campus

The Panthers generated opportunities but couldn't sustain side-outs against a hot Seneca attack that hit .425. Canadore finished at .122 with 20 kills and 39 digs, highlighted by balanced scoring and a productive block.

Sunday, Jan. 18 — Durham 3, Canadore 1 (23–25, 25–16, 25–10, 25–17) | Oshawa

Canadore came out sharp and took the first set 25–23, but the Lords' depth swung momentum late. The Panthers posted 30 kills, 7 service aces, and 4 solo blocks, with Elise Churman pacing the attack.
