Panthers Sweep Home Weekend

 

North Bay, ON — The Canadore Panthers men's volleyball team turned in a dominant home stand, defeating George Brown 3–1 on Saturday and Centennial 3–0 on Sunday at the College Drive Gymnasium. Canadore combined terminal attacking with a smothering serve–block game, hitting .343 and .419 in the two matches while piling up 30 solo blocks on the weekend.

Set scores: 25–17, 25–16, 20–25, 25–21

The Panthers controlled the pins and protected home court with 50 kills on .343 team hitting, backed by 17 solo blocks that choked off Huskies' runs.

Sunday, Feb. 1 — Canadore 3, Centennial 0

Set scores: 25–7, 25–21, 25–17

Canadore was clinical in a wire-to-wire sweep, swinging at .419 (39–8–74), serving 7 aces, and stacking 13 solo blocks while limiting the Colts to .145 hitting.
