North Bay, ON — The Canadore Panthers men's volleyball team delivered two dominant performances on the road this weekend, sweeping Fleming in straight sets on Saturday and Loyalist in straight sets on Sunday. The Panthers showcased offensive efficiency, strong serving, and a commanding presence at the net.


Match 1: Canadore 3, Fleming 0 (Nov. 22)

The Panthers opened the weekend with a convincing 25-16, 25-12, 25-21 victory over Fleming. Canadore hit an impressive .413 as a team, recording 41 kills, 8 service aces, and 5 blocks.

Top Performers:

  • Sean Malherbe led the attack with 11 kills on .500 hitting, adding a block for 11 points.
  • Hallen Ettles contributed 7 kills, 2 aces, and 3 blocks for a team-high 12 points.
  • Konrad Siedlec added 5 kills and 5 digs, while Spencer Corston ran the offense with 21 assists and 4 aces.

Match 2: Canadore 3, Loyalist 0 (Nov. 23)

Canadore continued its dominance with a 25-20, 25-22, 25-17 sweep of Loyalist. The Panthers were unstoppable offensively, hitting .486 as a team and tallying 36 kills, 8 aces, and 12 blocks.

  • Mason Begg powered the attack with 14 kills on .583 hitting, leading all scorers with 14 points.
  • Sean Malherbe added 10 kills on .526 hitting, while Kahled Bryant chipped in 5 kills and a team-high 5 blocks for 12 points.
  • Konrad Siedlec contributed 4 kills, 2 aces, and 2 blocks, and Spencer Corston directed the offense with 32 assists and an ace.
