North Bay, ON — The Canadore Panthers men's basketball team faced two challenging road matchups this weekend, falling to Redeemer University 100–74 on Saturday and Sheridan College 110–76 on Sunday. Despite the results, the Panthers displayed offensive improvement and strong individual performances.
Game 1: Redeemer 100, Canadore 74 (Nov. 22)
Canadore opened the game with energy, scoring 22 points in the first quarter, but turnovers and defensive lapses allowed Redeemer to pull away in the second half.
Top Performers:
- Zuriel Mhlongo led the Panthers with 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting, adding 4 rebounds.
- Royal Egbonkhan posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring the paint.
