Pappano named OCAA Star of the Week

TORONTO - Carlie Pappano (North Bay, Ont.) has been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) as a STARS OF THE WEEK.

Pappano continued an outstanding sophomore season with the Canadore Panthers with another solid performance on Nov. 19 against the Algonquin Wolves. The outside hitter led the way both offensively and defensively with 16 kills, two service aces and 13 digs in a four-set victory. Pappano is currently second among OCAA players averaging 3.70 kills per set.

Canadore improved to 5-1 on the season and currently sit in second place in the East Division and take a road trip to Toronto this weekend with matches against George Brown and Centennial.
