PANTHERS MEN’S BASKETBALL WELCOMES EMANI NWACHUKWU

NORTH BAY, ON - The Canadore Panthers men's basketball program is excited to announce the commitment of 6'5 high-flyer Emani Nwachukwu to the 2026-27 recruiting class.

Originally from North York, Toronto, Nwachukwu brings experience from both CODE Prep and Fleming College, adding athleticism, versatility, and defensive intensity to the Panthers roster.

A dynamic two-way player who can impact the game on both ends of the floor, Nwachukwu's ability to defend multiple positions, rebound the basketball, and score at all three levels makes him an exciting addition to the program. His combination of length, explosiveness, and athleticism makes him a constant lob threat and a player capable of producing highlight-reel plays.

For Nwachukwu, his faith remains at the center of his journey.

As a player from North York, Toronto, I believe God has called me to use the gifts He's given me to serve others and compete with excellence. I bring discipline, humility, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality every time I step on the court."

Head Coach Bill Crowdis believes Nwachukwu's versatility and athleticism will make him an important addition to the Panthers.

"Emani is the type of player that can impact the game in a lot of different ways," said Crowdis. "He rebounds the ball extremely well, can defend multiple positions, and has the ability to score at all three levels."
