NORTH BAY, Ont., The Canadore Panthers Men's Basketball team recorded its first win of the season and first in nearly 4 years after a 89-81 win over the Niagara Knights.
The game was a back and fourth affair with sixteen lead changes and three ties before eventually the Panthers would take control late on the fourth quarter.
Their offense was key - shooting a staggering 52% from the field and 50% from three point range.
Logan Whitmell lead all scorers with 19 points and Ty Huxtable added 16 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds in the win.
The Panthers are in action next weekend where they host the St Clair Saints, November 25, 1pm in the Education Centre Gym.
